Tim Devin is a Boston-based conceptual artist and writer. His work deals with humanizing public space, and combating what he views as the negative effects of urban anonymity (such as people's emotional isolation, and lack of attachment to their environment).
He is the founder of MEWS-PARI (the Meaningful Encounters with Strangers Preservation and Reenactment Initiative), and is the founder and a former member of the Boston Typewriter Orchestra performance group.
